Du coq a l'Ane!

Which means lots of stuff that doesn't follow each other! The last few weeks have been really great! Spring is finally here and the weather is just amazing compared to the other years. If it wasn't for the Summer here in Montreal, I would be loooong gone!

Here are a few shots from the last 3 weeks or so. Took my electro 35 GSN for the ride and some Ilford Delta ISO 100... as well as some Konica b&w, ISO 400, C41 compatible. I wasn't too crazy about this film, still, some shots turned out alright.

When they open the valves to this baby, you know Spring is here. This was taken just of the shores of the island of Montreal... on a bike path "Parc de la visitation"

So between frisbee catchings...
Amelie getting caught eating again...

Giving me the evil eye behind her glasses...

and my friend Guy"s birthday, I started to realize that life was back in this beautiful city!

So it was time! A boys night out was the right prescription. Even though some of us didn't look to excited.

My friend Berdj testing his elbow movement... seems to be working fine.

George with a little wrist action...
This is after a couple of ...hem...glasses of wine :)

Somewhere there, I'm sure we had some food too.

This was just one of those shots that you don't want your buddy to post on his blog... but I'm not that kind of guy :)
And then we decided to have a drink a this club called Baldwin's.

Unfortunately, this is the only shot I could take before I got swarmed by two bouncers. Who knew that it was OK to take pictures with your cell phone or digital camera. But take out a camera... camera and they think you're there to do something else. I was so upset at both of them. I mean I tried explaining that I take pictures for fun of pretty much everything, that it wasn't for promotional stuff or whatever. Anyways, after like 20 min of wasting my breath they didn't allow me to shoot.

I don't know which was worst, not taking pictures there or seeing other people with their fucking cells phones flashing away like pappers!
I still had fun... maybe a little overboard :)
I really like this shot, for whatever reason. I just think it represents a moment I don't remember so well :)

This one also.

So after a terrible hangover the size of a house being built on top my head,
fast forward to next evening. Where we went out for our friend's Karine's B-day party. Also the last game the Canadians would play against Philly.

Sarah won't be too happy I put this one up.

The birthday girl... reading the birthday card.

Random...

Random...
and some sweetness to finish it off!

Next morning we walked in the rain to get to the IMAX theatre, where we were supposed to see U2 in 3d... never happened, show was sold out. The story of my life when trying to see anything with U2.

Hope you got your tickets.
Hope you're doing great!
Take care!
